The Sci-Fi I Collection offers a wide variety of staple science fiction elements. It contains a very specialized collection of valuable building blocks that have been developed during the past 20 years.
Many of these sounds were recorded in unique and sometimes dangerous environments, using a variety of processes. These range from vintage analog and digital sampling synthesis, to elaborate field microphone techniques. Many of the sounds are the result of recording with microphones invented by Frank Serafine, in order to create and mimic sounds used in several films. Although these sounds are named by virtue of what they most sound like, they can be used in a multitude of applications.
The categories in this collection include:
Beeps, Tones and Noises, Destruction and Creatures, Industrial and Environmental, Transportation, Weapons and Whooshes. This science fiction Library will heighten the artistic expression of your work and provide you with ease of use and creative freedom (See the "PDF" below for a complete sound listing).
The Serafine Collective sounds have been featured in many top Hollywood and video game productions, including Tron, Grand Thief Auto 3, The Hunt for Red October, Poltergeist II, Star Trek - The Movie, Star Trek - The Search for Spock, The Addams Family, Virtuosity, The Suffering II, Brainstorm, Short Circuit I and II, Orgazmo, Lawnmower Man, and Hoodwinked 2 - Hood vs. Evil.
